Period Costume Drama Film Music Cue [1'20"]

‘The Virgin Queen’ a light string ostinato over elegant oboes; full strings enter with accompanying solo Celesta and Harp and reharmonizations of a full orchestra as the melody is played again more darkly give this cue a sense of classic Mozartian restraint with an Alexandre Desplat-inspired, quasi-French, sparse and delicately scored orchestrated. It is a graceful and airy piece that is full of tender and sweeping turns in harmonic inventiveness.
